Danish Life Science Cluster is for everyone who is interested in life science and welfare technology. As a member, you get access to a large network of companies, knowledge institutions, municipalities, regions, interest organizations, and public authorities within your area of interest.
What is Danish Life Science Cluster?
Danish Life Science Cluster is Denmark’s national cluster for life science and welfare technology. We are an EU-certified gold cluster with hubs in Copenhagen, Odense, Aarhus and Aalborg.
We bring people together, create innovation through collaborations and make companies grow.
How much does a membership cost?
The fee depends on the type and size of the organization – from DKK 1,500 to DKK 50,000 annually excluding VAT. See the full price list for companies, public actors, knowledge institutions and organizations on our website.
How do I become a member?
You can join by filling out the membership form on our website. If you have any questions, you can contact our membership team who will help you further.
Which benefits do I get through a membership?
As a member, you will get support by your personal Member manager, priority access to projects, free participation in network groups, discounts on events, visibility in the ecosystem and voting rights at the general meeting.
How can you help me?
We work within four focus areas: research and commercialization, public-private innovation, data and health technologies, and internationalization. Specifically, we help you with matchmaking, project development, networking, and sparring.
How can I get in touch with a public actor – e.g. a municipality or hospital?
Public-private innovation is one of our four focus areas. We help connecting companies and public actors when there is a professional match and value for both parties.
Can I network with companies that struggle with the same challenges like me?
We have a number of active network groups on topics such as regulations, welfare technology and health data – where companies and public authorities with common challenges meet. All networks are free for members.
Can I get guidance on my application related to funding?
We provide sparring on ideas, consortium building and project direction, as well as guidance on the framework and requirements of the individual calls. We continuously involve members to strengthen projects and partnerships.
How many members do you have – and is my organization type represented?
We have +250 members from across the life science sector – medtech, biotech, pharma, welfare technology, knowledge institutions and public actors. You can see an overview of all our members on the website.
Can I reach out to Danish Life Science Cluster as often as I like for sparring?
As a member, you will have a personal member manager you can always contact for sparring, matchmaking and guidance. You are welcome to reach out when you need help.
How can you help me with internationalization?
Internationalization is one of our four focus areas. We collaborate with, among others, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Healthcare Denmark and provide access to international clusters, innovation projects and export support activities.
Is it possible to be considered for different consortia?
Danish Life Science Cluster operates and participates in national and international innovation consortia on an ongoing basis. As a member, you have priority access to participation when your skills match a current project or call.
