New overview of Danish test facilities – here you can test and get documentation for your solution
It should be easier for Danish companies to develop, test and demonstrate new products and services. Now an overview of Danish test facilities has been updated so that it is easier to find.
When a company wants to sell its solution to the Danish healthcare sector, it must document and show evidence of the effect of its solution.
But where does a one-man company or a small startup find help to further develop or test their solution in a specific environment?
A new version of the overview portal Danish test facilities is now ready. Here, companies can find an overview of test, demonstration and development facilities throughout Denmark. The portal also provides an overview of opportunities for expert advice, and sparring on product and concept development.
The purpose is to create a fertile ground for faster innovation and product development in Denmark.
– Many companies find it difficult to find the right testing and development opportunities. This delays the innovation process and, in the worst case, can stop it altogether. Therefore, there is a need for an easy overview like this that can support innovative companies on their way to the market, explains Ragnar Heldt Nielsen, director of the GTS association.

Database can help companies on their way to the market
The search portal, available on Virksomhedsguiden.dk under the Danish Business Authority, provides a unique overview of Danish test, demonstration, and development facilities.
“It can be crucial for a small company, a startup or a spin-off company to get access to advanced equipment so they have the right documentation before they go to market. Therefore, the database of test facilities is valuable, and we hope to help create contacts between innovative companies and skilled specialists to develop new sustainable solutions for the health sector, says Freja Bertelsen, project manager at Danish Life Science Cluster.
Connect with leading specialists
In the portal, you can search for facilities by industry – e.g. health science, life science and welfare technology or digital technologies. In addition, you can click on the map of Denmark and find available facilities in a geographical area.
Using the search function, you can search among almost 400 specialised facilities.
Whether you are looking for expert advice, sparring on product and concept development, or need a specific certification or impartial material studies before launching on the market, Danish test facilities can help you get contact information for leading specialists, who are ready to help you and your company.
