Partnership between Danish Life Science Cluster and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark
Danish companies in the life science and welfare technology sector must be prepared to meet the increasing demand for innovative solutions from global markets. Danish Life Science Cluster has entered into a partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark to strengthen the joint efforts with internationalization in Danish companies and knowledge institutions with the intention to create more innovation, exports and growth.
Background
The life science and welfare technology industry is one of Denmark’s clearest positions of strength, and the area has been an export industry with significant growth in recent years. This has created unique research environments and innovative companies. Together with a highly cohesive healthcare system and a population that is technology-ready, this provides Denmark with particularly good conditions for meeting the increasing global demand for new and better healthcare solutions.
Purpose and value proposition of the project
In Danish Life Science Cluster, one of our goals is to work strategically with the internationalization of Danish companies and knowledge institutions. The purpose is to bring Danish knowledge, innovations, and solutions into play for global challenges and/or to bring international knowledge home to Danish challenges.
Therefore, we have entered into a partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including the Trade Council og Innovation Center Denmark.
This allows us to offer customized assistance to Danish companies and knowledge institutions. Interested parties can, for example, participate in an internationalization process either via Denmark’s embassies, the regions’ business centers, the seven innovation centers or via consulates general and trade offices in more than 60 countries.
We will continuously develop new relevant projects and platforms to create internationalization with our partners under the partnership, including individual offers, as well as long-term programs.
What they have in common is that they are matched to the needs of companies and knowledge institutions, regardless of whether they are innovation- or market-driven offers. See more below.
